Connecting students to industry.

I lead an awesome team of student volunteers to organise events and provide industry experiences for students.

From 2 years I ran the Sydney University Experience Designers, or SUEDE for short. We bring unique design and tech industry opportunities to students.

Achievements

SUEDE gained multiple sponsors during these two years thanks to our passionate and capable team.

CONTExT

This was a volunteering position I undertook while attaining my degree; the Bachelor of Design Computing.

ROLE

I was the Vice-President and then President of SUEDE for two years. I focussed on strategy, team-building and gaining sponsorships.

suede's mission

We aim to bridge the gap between a theory-based education and practical industry based learning.

We help students be better prepared for the workforce while also creating a community centred around design.

We are the industry mouthpiece for the design faculty; a direct connection for students.
